A recent research study showed that women with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) may benefit from Vitamin E and CoQ10 supplements. In this study, women with PCOS who took a combination of Vitamin E and CoQ10 for 8 weeks lowered their testosterone levels and improved their level of insulin resistance (i.e. showed some improvement in metabolism).
